The house was covered with drop clothes. Pine cones were clustered in a big blue bowl in preparation for applications of blue and silver glitter. The first batch of cookie dough was in the refrigerator. Cookie cutters were at the ready. The only thing needed were hands and laughter. Christmas is a wonderful time to share the messy, delicious tradition of baking with good friends. At the end of the day, children and adults trooped home with their cookies. New friendships were made, old friendships deepened. We wish everyone a New Year filled with sweet and simple delights...and lots of cookies

Merry Bakers

We'll get this out when she's 16 and her
new boyfriend is over for dinner.
A cookie master in the making
.... umm...we weren't all merry every
minute
We created lots of great memories....
Not many cookies went home  
And this is how you cut them out.
...ate a lot of cookies, sang some songs, talked a little too loudly and had a grand time.
